Baisakhi or Vaishakhi is one of the most popular festivals in the northern India. Basically, it is celebrated in the Punjab region by all Punjabis as an ancient harvest festival.

People have different believes regarding this festival as it is observed by Sikhs with the significance of birth of Khalsa and beginning of the harvest season. It is celebrated on the 1st date of vaisakh or 13 or 14 of April every year.
